Christmas Concert 2017

The band has just held its annual Christmas Concert, at which the audience enjoyed a number of seasonal favourites, as well as joining in with some Carols.

This included four verses of Carol number 40 in the Carol books – we are trying to play 40 verses of this Carol during December to celebrate the band’s 40^th Anniversary.

We were once again delighted that the Panache Steel Band were able to join us in the concert, adding variety to the evening. Luckily the final bars of Jingle Bells finished a few hours before the snow started!

Weather permitting, the band will be Carolling around the village during the morning of Sunday 17^th, as well as playing in Stroud Hospital and then The George at Frocester in the afternoon.  After that the band will take a break, with the first practice of next year on Tuesday 9^th January.
