Christmas Concert 2017

The band has just held its annual Christmas Concert, at which the audience enjoyed a number of seasonal favourites, as well as joining in with some Carols.

This included four verses of Carol number 40 in the Carol books – we are trying to play 40 verses of this Carol during December to celebrate the band’s 40th Anniversary.

We were once again delighted that the Panache Steel Band were able to join us in the concert, adding variety to the evening. Luckily the final bars of Jingle Bells finished a few hours before the snow started!

Weather permitting, the band will be Carolling around the village during the morning of Sunday 17th, as well as playing in Stroud Hospital and then The George at Frocester in the afternoon.  After that the band will take a break, with the first practice of next year on Tuesday 9th January.
